I have been carving wax for jewelers professionally for over thirty years. I started in the wax room at a large Seattle manufacturing company. That experience allowed me to get work at several smaller custom jewelry stores, learning from experienced and talented jewelers. After a stint in the San Francisco Bay area for graduate school, I started my own freelance wax carving business working for both custom shops and manufacturing jewelers. I returned to Seattle in 2000 with my husband and son, and have continued doing freelance wax carving. My long experience has given me the ability to look at a job and ask all the right questions from the client to insure a quality wax that is just what the client is envisioning.
